Artist Statement

My world is filled with color. It is the juxtaposition of these colors that create the energy that ebbs and flows throughout my work. These paintings are the purest forms of my expression: swirling and morphing until they have the depth of character, energy and mystery to exist independently. 
I paint to bring some order to the chaos and irrationality of life. The randomness of it. The contradictions. I paint to show wonder and joy. The messiness. To visualize the things we can feel, but cannot see. To explore these themes: not in a precise way, but in an organic, intuitive, and innately human way.
